OP Labs, backing the Optimism network, launched a testnet version of its novel fault-proof system aimed at bolstering both efficiency and decentralization. At present, OP Stack employs centralized sequencers to bundle and send transactions to Ethereum. However, this method prohibits users from challenging the process in case of fraudulent transactions.

Ethereum has just launched the Holesky test network, albeit on the second attempt. During a live broadcast on the EthStaker YouTube channel, one of the developers announced, 'It seems the launch has gone smoothly.' Meanwhile, another developer smiled and noted, 'It looks like we won't have to do this a third time.'"

Uniswap has rolled out "Swap Protection" to shield Ethereum mainnet transactions from sandwich attacks and front-running. When users enable this feature in the Uniswap Wallet, swaps are directed to a private transaction pool, enhancing security against potential threats. Due to this added layer, some swaps might have higher auto slippage to boost the likelihood of successful transactions.
