Canto and Astar Plan to Integrate with Ethereum Ecosystem
Canto, a Cosmos-native layer-1 blockchain, and Astar, initially part of the Polkadot ecosystem, are planning to migrate to Ethereum as layer-2 solutions.
Canto aims to bring traditional finance to DeFi and will build a ZK-rollup on Ethereum's second layer, leveraging Polygon's Chain Development Kit.
Astar also plans to build an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution named Astar ZK-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Both projects aim to tap into Ethereum's liquidity and security features.
It's worth noting that Astar clarified it is expanding to Ethereum while maintaining its core on Polkadot.
