The Unibot Telegram bot for cryptocurrency trading has terminated its partnership with the Unibot on Solana developers, urging them to adopt a new name and to remunerate the community that has supported them for an extended period. According to the Unibot team, this decision was made in the interest of security.

The developers highlighted three primary concerns leading to this decision: the refusal to implement a "Know Your Customer" (KYC) procedure, the unauthorized launch of bots under their brand, and the refusal to share a portion of the commission fees with all UNIBOT token holders. Furthermore, the creators of the original bot have decided to launch their own version on Solana.

However, users have criticized the developers for this approach in comments, deeming the original decision to hand over the bot's launch on a new blockchain and a lot of data to an external team rather than developing it in-house as absurd. Moreover, some users were completely unaware of the existence of different development teams.

It's worth noting that in January, the Unibot project announced the launch of a separate UNISOL token on the Solana blockchain, intended to enhance the value of the two trading bot ecosystems. However, this token may now be completely useless.
