Robby Yung, the CEO of Animoca Brands, has revealed that due to a shortage of capital, investors in the realm of Web3 games have become increasingly demanding when it comes to new projects. They now expect to witness substantial progress at the early stages of development.
"You need to have an alpha version. Ideally, when you first enter the market and seek external capital, you should already have some user testing in place," he emphasized.
However, he believes that such an approach poses challenges for developers, as attracting users without adequate funding and a popular platform for distributing decentralized games can be exceedingly difficult.
