🌋 Nvidia Launches RTX 4090 D Exclusively for China

NVIDIA, renowned for its gaming chips and recently for artificial intelligence chips, has launched a custom version of the RTX 4090 video card, targeting the Chinese market.
The GeForce RTX 4090 D, designed in cooperation with the U.S. government to meet export control regulations, is priced at 12,999 yuan (~$1837).
A company spokesperson highlighted that in terms of gaming and processing capabilities, the RTX 4090 D is just slightly slower, by about 5%, than the standard RTX 4090 model.
Additionally, NVIDIA has recently crafted specialized AI chip versions to replace the A800 and H800 models, which are restricted from being supplied to China.
