Jack Daniels has partnered with Yahoo Creative Studios to launch an AR campaign featuring Polygon-based digital collectibles and Augmented Reality (AR).
The campaign, which takes the form of a map-based game, is currently available in five Australian cities, where players can explore specific areas to find "Jack Daniel's crates" containing prizes such as gift vouchers, trips to a distillery, and NFT music tracks from three Australian bands.

In total, there are 2,000 tracks up for grabs, and those who find a crate can mint it as a collectible on Polygon. The campaign aims to push the boundaries of digital marketing while bringing back the sense of personalization and discovery that comes with owning a song. According to Dimitra Tassopoulos, senior brand manager for the Jack Daniel's Family of Brands, the campaign is all about finding new and innovative ways of engaging with customers.

The intersection of alcohol and the metaverse is still in its early stages, but campaigns like this could pave the way for more creative collaborations in the future. It also shows how NFTs and blockchain technology can be used beyond just the art world, and could signal a new trend for marketing campaigns in various industries.
