Iker Casillas NFTs: A Digital Collection of the Football Legend
The first installment of celebrated goalkeeper Iker Casillas's NFT collection has made its debut on the Spaceseven marketplace, promising annual rewards and continuous involvement in valuable prize draws.
In a collaborative endeavor involving Casillas, Spaceseven, and The Sports Museum, fans stand a chance to bag an array of rewards: t-shirts, autographs, tickets to football matches, and even exclusive rendezvous. The initial portion of the collection comprises five unique NFT videos of seventeen, each portraying Iker's real-life goalkeeping accolades. Every non-fungible token is available in three tiers of rarity (series). The collection is evenly split across the Ethereum and Concordium blockchains.
1. Silver
A total of 5005 tokens each priced at 0.054321 ETH, conferring entitlement to three yearly video messages from Casillas. Also, an opportunity to enter draws for monthly rewards such as tickets to a Real Madrid football match, VIP seats, autographed cards, bespoke soccer cleats adorned with a specially embroidered signature, and an original team jersey (personal or Adidas Limited Edition).
2. Copper
Limited to 505 pieces each tagged at 0.275 ETH, this tier offers a monthly video message from Casillas, a ticket to a Real Madrid game, and eligibility for a monthly lottery. This draw features prizes akin to the silver tier: VIP tickets, autograph cards, original jerseys signed by the footballer, inclusive of the Iker Casillas Limited Edition, and a special pair of soccer cleats.
3. Unique Black
The most exclusive series, with NFTs available only as unique editions for 5.4321 ETH. This tier presents collectors with an authentic VIP experience: owners receive seven different autographed items each year (cards, jerseys, soccer cleats), ten regular tickets and two VIP tickets to a Real Madrid football match, a brief phone call, and a personal three-hour encounter with the legendary goalkeeper.
A notable drawback of this collection is that the distribution of rewards depends on the number of NFTs sold: the odds do not increase with the surge in the number of participants. If the collection's sales dip below 50% of the issue, all draws stand canceled. This limitation, however, is slated for removal in May 2024, by which time the remaining twelve NFTs are expected to be released.
