📣 Hong Kong SFC Sets Tokenization Standards

Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has issued
guidelines for asset tokenization, addressing the growing market
interest.
Tokenized
securities are viewed as traditional securities within a tokenized
framework, and existing securities market regulations apply.
The
SFC also requires licensed trading platforms to have a compensation
arrangement for the loss of security tokens, with the possibility of
exemptions on a case-by-case basis.
