Multi-chain dApp hub Astar Network and Japanese illustrator Yoshitaka Amano will present a joint NFT collection Candy Girl. 108 sophisticated and bright angels, that have become a source of inspiration for Japanese fashion designers, will be created on the Astar blockchain.
The limited collection is designed to unite not only Western and Eastern cultures, but also blockchain and art. The partners plan to make Candy Girl an independent element of the ecosystem and host it on a separate Web 3 site.

Candy Girl is 108 glamorous and elegant angels by Amano who are well known in Japan. In particular, designers and fashion designers of such events as Tokyo Girls Collection 2017 and Discover Tokyo were inspired by non-trivial images. The transformation of images into an NFT collection will allow the illustrator to collaborate with entrepreneurs and become as recognizable as possible to a global audience.

“The fact that people can see and appreciate my work is a bonus. It makes me want to draw even more. It was like that when I was a child, and since then nothing has changed,” said Yoshitako Amano, who is famous for his craving for experiments. His creative background includes creating unique characters for the Final Fantasy videogames and the Speedracer anime project, and a VR museum with virtually reconstructed artwork.

For the Astar Network smart contract platform, the release of a joint NFT collection with the participation of Amano will be the first stage of cooperation with Twin Planet. They represent the interests of artists who seek to go beyond the usual boundaries and work on the creation of digital assets.

The main goal of the partnership between Astar Network and Twin Planet is to popularize the professional masters’ works. All artists who will take part in the project will create in a safe and favorable environment. It is expected that NFTs from the upcoming collections will become very popular among investors. The owners of such non-fungible tokens will receive the rights to works of art that have real value.
