The Hong Kong subsidiary branch of SCB has become a partner of “The Sandbox” metaverse. According to the bank’s management, they have already purchased a virtual piece of land in the virtual metropolis of the metaverse. This move has become innovative for the bank and is managed by the relevant division of “SC Ventures”.
It is worth noting that at the moment SCB is one of the world’s largest banks and has branches in 150 countries. Its staff is about 85 thousand people. After the start of cooperation, the bank plans to expand the metaverse by attracting new customers and partners, as well as expanding the staff.
