The presentation of The Oath NFT collection was one of the standout events of the coronation weekend in the UK.
The Oath is a special project created through the collaboration of digital artist Trevor Jones, metaverse company Apollo Entertainment, and the British daily newspaper Evening Standard. These limited edition Ethereum NFTs honor a significant historical event and come with exclusive privileges for their owners.

The collection's name was chosen purposefully to evoke the association with the coronation oath, during which monarchs swear to govern according to the laws and traditions of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms.

The Oath showcases the main symbol of royal authority since 1661 - the St. Edward's Crown. This gold crown is embellished with 444 precious and semi-precious stones. The dynamic image is made even more captivating by the constantly changing background, which symbolizes the new king's commitment to environmental dialogue, according to the author.

The Nifty Gateway marketplace hosted the debut of The Oath collection from May 4th to May 7th, 2023, and all registered users of the platform had the opportunity to snag a free, historic NFT. The collection launch was promoted both online and offline, with active campaigns on social media and QR codes linked to The Oath popping up on the pages of the Evening Standard. Installations featuring the artwork were also placed on Oxford Street to attract the attention of passersby.

After the closure of the Royal Mint, the story of The Oath continues. A week after Charles III's coronation on May 14th, holders of the open version NFT can enter a giveaway for a chance to win one of 444 limited-edition versions of The Crown NFT.
In addition, participants have the opportunity to win unique physical copies of The Oath by providing their contact information on the giveaway page, and following Trevor Jones' Twitter account and newsletter. Ten 60x60cm art pieces, personally signed by the artist, are available for true admirers of the royal family.
