Prada is going to launch a clothing line with NFT-linked serial numbers.
The fashion house published information about this on its Twitter account. The NFTs will be in the form of GIFs. The collection will be created within a joint project between Cassius Hirst and Prada.
The collaboration started 4 years ago and is called Timecapsule. By purchasing this or that model, each buyer will become the owner of a non-fungible token in the form of GIF images of black and white shirts with a brand logo. The moment of receiving the token on the wallet and buying clothes will be synchronized. Prada also noted that the owners of the earlier Timecapsule collections will not be left behind and will also receive their tokens as a gift for the purchased items.
It is worth noting that recently representatives of the world of fashion and art have been actively using blockchain to attract attention to their products. For example, the Hirsts are releasing collections linked to NFT for the second time. In the summer of 2021, the father of Cassius Hirst, artist Damien Hirst, released the “Currency” collection pegged to NFTs worth a little over five ETH.

In the fashion world, giants such as Prada, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton have co-founded Aura Blockchain, which provides the Ethereum-based Quorum blockchain platform. Also, previously, the Prada fashion house and Adidas released the Adidas clothing collection for Prada Resource using the Polygon blockchain. The collection could earn 468 ETH. Louis Vuitton also keeps pace with its competitors by presenting its collection of NFTs as part of Louis: The Game in April of this year.

To remind, Ayoken attracts investments to conclude exclusive contracts with musicians and artists.
