Meet Amy: Crypto.com Launches AI Chatbot
Not all companies or people are afraid of AI. Some like Crypto.com are ready to embrace their potential.
Crypto.com, the Singapore-based company with over 80 million customers worldwide, has decided to “go Alexa”.
In its latest announcement, the company is introducing the first-ever artificial intelligence-powered initiative Amy.
According to Crypto.com, Amy is an “AI companion”. Its purpose is to help people learn the crucial industry using real-time information about specific tokens and projects. Alongside details on price listings and historical events.
“Amy is intended to serve as a crypto expert resource for the average user, anchored in deep learning and data to help capture opportunities in the fast-moving crypto sector. The underlying technology of Amy is based on ChatGPT from OpenAI, but it is being further trained with specific case examples to provide more accurate and relevant results for Crypto.com users,” the announcement reads.
Crypto.com says that the pilot project is currently in the beta phase. It is available only to select the users who are using crypto.com/price. Amy will become more available to the public over time.

Crypto.com’s decision comes at a time when there is a huge controversy regarding AI’s usage and potential, with many eminent figures, including Elon Musk, warning that artificial intelligence could end up destroying humanity.
