There are opposing views on the Web3 project IguVerse. While experts highlight the drawbacks of tokenomics and the business model as a whole, many users are pleased with the opportunity to share amusing photos of their pets.
As evidenced by the author's friends' experiences, there are no major issues with the project's game component. Therefore, we made the decision to provide a brief overview of the project's atmosphere without going into the potential drawbacks of the Play-2-Earn concept.

The ambitious project IguVerse integrates features from GameFi and SocialFi along with crypto rewards and donations. It has evolved from an ingenious idea to a full-fledged app with 150,000 downloads, 25,000 daily active users, and its own community of 500,000 people from all over the world by 2022. Fantastic Four

The project is based on four mechanics, each of which has its supporters:

  1. Socialize-to-Earn (S2E). This concept entails earning money by performing simple tasks on social media. Wanna get some extra money? Connect existing accounts to the app, share images of pets with a unique code, chat with other players, and search for tailed animals with similar IDs! You can now get paid in IGU tokens for regularly posting pictures of your pets and looking for other players' animals.
  2. Move-to-Earn (M2E). The idea of moving in order to earn is expanding quickly. Players in this case must walk their pets to earn energy and bonuses. How? Open the app, tuck your phone into a pocket or bag, and take your canine companion for a walk. Naturally, dog owners will find it the easiest to complete this task. What should players without animals do, as well as owners of cats or hamsters?  Simply start the game, choose an NFT pet, and carry on with your day. The main thing is your activity, which the application will record.
  3. Play-to-Earn (P2E). IguVerse's version of the traditional "Play-to-Earn" idea is a mini-game featuring an iguana as the main character. The protagonist must overcome challenges while gathering fruits. Food provides the vital energy that a pet requires. A starving animal's health level drops, which increases the risk of death.
  4. Help-to-Earn. If both giving and receiving are important for the universe to be in balance, the project offers such a chance. Each player may donate a portion of their rewards to organizations that support animals; simply enter the donation amount in the relevant field.

Each player's first and most important step is to create an NFT pet and obtain an ID. The application will do everything on its own thanks to artificial intelligence and machine learning; all you have to do is provide a photo of the animal and select the appropriate settings. Players who don't own pets pick them out of the NFT market. You can also purchase any animal from other users.

Then it's just a matter of connecting your social media accounts and completing daily quests, increasing your pet's energy reserves, and receiving rewards. By the way, their quantity and quality are determined by the animal's energy level and rank. The better-groomed and happier your pet is (as in the photo above), the more money you will be able to earn.

The IguVerse economy is based on the IGU and IGUP tokens. The main IGU token is given out as a reward and can be traded on exchanges. IGUP is an in-game token that can be used to upgrade pets and make purchases.

Conclusion

The creators of the app IguVerse hope it will become a social experiment that goes viral. Is it worthwhile to learn more about the project in light of conflicting reviews and rumors? It is entirely up to you to make your choice.
