How much does Genesis owe?
By May 22, the bankrupt creditor Genesis will finalize the amount it owes to customers. On June 27, the company will be sold at auction to cover losses.
This plan was revealed in court documents related to the bankruptcy case published on Thursday. Bids from participants interested in buying Genesis will be accepted until May 5.
Genesis Global Capital and Genesis Asia Pacific, as well as Genesis Global Trading, will be put up for auction. All three companies are part of the Digital Currency Group. The group also owns CoinDesk.
