Gemini offers staking to users in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US
The popular American crypto exchange is launching a Gemini Staking service. Users will now be able to place MATIC, ETH, SOL, DOT, and soon AUDIO, receiving rewards to their accounts.
Gemini, one of the leading U.S. crypto exchanges, announced the launch of staking. The service is available to users from Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S., except for traders from New York. Among the tokens that can be placed now and soon are Polygon (MATIC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), and Audius (AUDIO).

The platform promises users a simple and secure coin offering process that won’t require special knowledge or skills. An official statement on the cryptocurrency exchange’s website outlines the main benefits of staking:
- an institutional approach to organizing security that eliminates self-directed key management;
- compensation for a number of fines;
- reimbursement for any costs associated with staking and de-staking, including gas and infrastructure fees.

Gemini Staking is the second crypto-exchange project that provides users with income. Gemini Earn was launched earlier. The difference between them lies in the principles of reward formation. Its sources are validators for staking, and for Gemini Earn, third-party borrowers who have been verified and have accreditation.
