The UK Treasury has scrapped its plans to launch an NFT project that aimed to establish the nation as a hub for cryptocurrency innovation.
Treasury Minister Andrew Griffith revealed on Monday that the Royal Mint would not proceed with the NFT launch for now but would continue to review the proposal.
Initially proposed by Rishi Sunak the idea was announced in spring 2022 by UK's Royal Mint.
