What is more popular: cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFT, or meme coins? It's time to ask Google.
Gagarin News compared the search volumes for four keywords — cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFT, and meme coins - to determine their respective levels of popularity.
According to Google Analytics, NFTs prevail over the other three. Marked in yellow, the line shows a peak in January 2022.
Meanwhile, the search for cryptocurrency (marked in blue) was at its highest in May 2021. Blockchain had a slight rise in February 2021.
Memecoins seem to be unpopular in comparison with the other three categories.

The graph also demonstrates a substantial decline in the interest surrounding cryptocurrency and blockchain over the years.
Interest in NFTs is especially conspicuous in the US, Canada, most European countries, and Brazil.
Meanwhile, cryptocurrencies are popular in India, Kenya, Ireland, South Africa, and Australia.
Blockchain went viral in Germany and Nigeria.
