Bigscreen Beyond: the world's smallest VR headset

Bigscreen, the VR platform known for creating immersive virtual reality experiences, has recently launched a new headset called Bigscreen Beyond. This VR headset is designed for personal computers and is the lightest and smallest in its class, weighing only 127 grams. It is six times lighter than other similar VR gadgets, and its thinnest part is only 24 mm. The device measures 143.1 mm in length and 52.4 mm in width.

The headset comes with a price tag of $999 and boasts an exceptional fit, thanks to its 3D face scanning technology. It has a range of advanced features, including two OLED microdisplays, each with a resolution of 2560x2560, state-of-the-art optics, and 6DOF SteamVR tracking support.

The Beyond's OLED microdisplays offer high image quality and detail. Combined with advanced optics, Bigscreen Beyond provides a 2-3 times better visual accuracy than other VR headsets. 

Designed for PC users who love the SteamVR virtual reality ecosystem, Bigscreen Beyond is a great alternative to other headsets such as Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality. However, it does not come with a SteamVR tracking base station or compatible controllers such as Valve Index or HTC Vive. To use the Bigscreen Beyond VR headset, a powerful computer with a quad-core processor is required. The manufacturers of Bigscreen Beyond guarantee that it is 100% compatible with all programs, games, and metaverses available in SteamVR.

In SteamVR, users can download multiple game products with metaverses like VRChat, NeosVR, AltspaceVR, etc. 

VRChat remains the most popular of them all. It's a metaverse that has a desktop mode for use in 2D, but to immerse yourself in the magical virtual world in 3D format, you'll need a VR headset or helmet.

The gameplay of VRChat is similar to Second Life and Habbo Hotel. Players create their own worlds where they can interact with each other using virtual avatars. Created worlds are filled with locations, objects, and various items. Game settings allow players to create or import character models from different franchises and use them as their own avatar.

In the virtual space, player models are capable of supporting lip sync, eye blinking, and a complete range of motion. For those in other countries, the headset will not be available for purchase until 2024.
