Amazon intends to enter the NFT market
Several sources report that the e-commerce leader is interested in expanding its Web3 capabilities.
This is indicated by a few facts:
? The company made a job announcement for Web3 developers and engineers;
? They sign agreements with prominent NFT creators and gather unique collections;
? The e-commerce leader has already partnered with blockchain company Ava Labs;
? They're developing blockchain games for customers, with free NFT giveaways.
So far, it remains unclear whether Amazon is going to compete with companies such as OpenSea and Rarible by creating its own marketplace. Or do they pursue another goal?
We will see the real reason for Amazon's interest in Web3 this spring. A presentation of the new project is scheduled for April.
